Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona recently welcomed Jellybean, a baby pygmy hippo named in a public candy-themed contest to match her mother, Lollipop, and father, Tootsie Roll.
Zoo staff say Jellybean loves swimming and staying close to her mom, drawing crowds both online and at the enclosure. The zoo’s breeding program aims to help protect pygmy hippos, an endangered species much smaller than the common river hippo.
